From Inspiration to Reality
INTERIOR DESIGNS
My goal is to inspire.
My style is defined by modern sophistication, and the need for
comfortable livability achievable to everyone.

An Interior Designer is so much more than drawing (or using a computer-aided) program and choosing fabrics/materials. Coordination and organization are big parts of the job. Which I LOVE! There are various stages of design and construction within each project, and to ensure it runs smoothly a great interior designer will take the lead on coordinating the teams on the project. Coordination at an early stage with other consultants involved in the project is one of the most important tasks. I want to ensure that the concept is translated into real-life taking into consideration the challenges that might occur. This phase requires teamwork, led by the interior designer to maintain the initial concept and design idea. I want to achieve an end result that is as close as possible to the concept and schematic design presented to you.

What does an interior designer do and how are they different than an interior decorator? As an interior designer, my focus is the form and function of a space. I partner with clients to achieve a desired esthetic and design that enhances their lifestyle. Designers collaborate with other professionals—like architects and contractors—as needed, based on the type and scale of the project. Architects’ expertise is in building and structure, so they will be on the project team for additions or new builds. I love space planning and am able to partnership with a structural engineer to relocate interior walls if necessary. A contractor will build from the design plans created by the architect and/or designer.

What do I need to know about hiring an interior designer? The most important thing to know is that working with an interior designer can be a rewarding, stress-free process. In addition to helping you create a beautiful home, designers can also help you define a budget and the scope of your project. They also have the connections and recommendations to help you hire the right contractors to complete the work.

How do you establish your design fees? Each project presents its own unique challenges, so I charge a hybrid of fees. Hourly & flat rate based on time spent working. I begin with an initial proposal before the project is finalized. In this proposal, I review the scope of the work, the budget, and provide a proposed design fee based on projected hours or plans. I am committed to transparency with all my clients and will provide regular updates so that you always know where you stand in the project.

Do you welcome client's opinions and perspectives?YES! Absolutely. My job is to create beautiful designs, taking into consideration the client’s perspective, lifestyle, and goals for the home. I love hearing about the way you live in your home. It is a collaborative process, and nothing is more satisfying for me than creating a space that genuinely represents my clients lives and stories. The smallest details can make a real impact when it comes to designing a space, and I know how to bring these details together to create a seamless design. Finding creative solutions for your environment while being esthetically pleasing is what I strive for.
